RATES: The rate for consultations, correspondence, follow-up & project work is $40 per hour.  Project work includes but is not limited to; design inspiration boards, floor planning, purchasing items, returns, furniture selections, online sourcing, installations, communication with client, vendor and subs, budget planning and billing.  The first hour of the design consult is on me for Lincoln Residents {$40 per hour designer fee plus mileage applies outside of Lincoln}.  There is a mileage fee charge of .54 cents per mile for any job outside of Lincoln, but there is no time charge for drive time.  Appointment billing time may be rounded up 15 minutes for out of area drive time & invoice processing.  Billing is done at the end of each month and payment is due within 30 days of invoice mailing. Additionally, CANOPY loves to add vintage pieces into our designs; these items will include a small mark up on the original price of the item.    

 

COMMUNICATION: Correspondence includes any communication with you, subs, or vendors regarding your project.  This includes via call, text, email, or in person.

 

DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is required for projects where the designer will be purchasing merchandise estimated at $250 or more.  

 

CANCELLATION: This agreement can be terminated in the event that either party fails to uphold the terms.  A phone call or in person meeting will be required to explain the reasoning.  CANOPY interior designs will be compensated for all design services performed prior to notice of such termination at the hourly rate of $40 per hour for designer.  CANOPY interior design shall also be compensated for all outstanding balances on purchases made on behalf of clients.

 

REMODELING PROJECTS: I am able to work with your contractors or I can recommend contractors and subs for your project.  The contractor assumes all liability for remodel/new home construction projects. If you are hiring a contractor/subcontractor directly make sure to get a copy of their insurance papers.
